Re-purposed dresser

I got this broken down dresser at at yardsale, then i broke the glass that came on the top of it... Whenever I do that my husband replies "glad it was you and not me" haha

So here is the After:

I really really Love how this turned out, I had a vision and I love when it comes out exactly how I had it planned in my head.. except for the glass that is :)

First I sprayed the edges black..

Then I used an acrylic paint I had left over from a prior job..I used an HVLP sprayer for this job.

My Husband built me some cedar crates and I dry brushed them white with CeCe Caldwell Simply white
(I can assure you I am happy in this picture.. even though I have a sour look on :):)

I then put burlap over the particleboard top and some chalkboard stickers from Takin Time to smell the flowers and Voila!!! Im in love!

My cheap Ol' yard sale find is fabulous!

  7. Very cool! Great idea using crates in place of the missing drawers. I've used baskets before, but will try this next time. Thank you for sharing! BTW - found you via linky party at My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia.
